You're trusting us with photos of your child's schoolwork. That deserves better than a 9,000-word legal document.

Here's exactly what happens to your child's information — in the order it happens.

What happens when you photograph homework

You snap a photo

Of the worksheet, the marked test, the homework — handwriting and all.

Personal details are blurred

Your child's name, a teacher's name, a school logo, a face in the corner of the shot — detected and blurred before the image is stored for study use. Location metadata from the phone camera is stripped too.

Only the learning content is used

The questions, the answers, the mistakes — that's what powers quizzes and games. Nothing else.

You can see everything

Everything your child has uploaded and generated is visible to you, any time, from Guardian's Gate.

What we never do

We never sell or share your child's data.

Not to advertisers, not to "partners", not to anyone.

We never use your child's data to train AI models.

Your family's work stays your family's.

We never show ads to children.

There is no ad inventory anywhere in the product.

We never let a child chat with an anything-goes AI.

Generation runs through education-tuned guardrails, and you can see the results.

We never store your card details.

Payments run through Stripe; we never see your card number.

Parent-managed by design

Children don't sign themselves up. A parent or guardian creates the family account, gives consent (COPPA-compliant), and adds each child. You control the account, and you can request permanent deletion of your family's data at any time.

The honest fine print

AI isn't perfect. Generated questions are education-tuned and quality-checked, but an occasional imperfect question slips through. Report anything odd — a human reads every report.

Uploaded originals are kept in locked storage that is never publicly accessible, so we can improve extraction quality. Blurring applies to everything used for study and display.
